Muddlings

I was born in the nation's capital and raised by people descended from nearly two centuries of Appalachian traditions, morals, values, and standards. And ways of surviving. In the last third of my life, with three Strokes under my belt, and a pocket full of "challenges" in tow, I remain insanely determined to be fiercely and willfully independent until I breathe my last and Swan Dive off this Mortal coil. Before that day gets here, I thought it was a fine idea the share my thoughts and observations about the world around me, such as it is, through the lens of my own life experience and - with our creators Divine Providence looking over my shoulder - the wisdom passed on to me by my ancestral elders. There will be moments ahead when I intentionally ignore the rules passed on to me regarding the use of Christian language. It'll be fine, you get used to the taste of soap if you work at it.
